Healing begins with love for myself and love for every part of my body. ~Louise L. Hay
I found this quote more than appropriate and wanted to work it into my first post regarding my FXB (Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping) journey. In a couple of hours, I'll be at the bus stop, waiting for my ride to my destination on S Colorado Blvd. The first step, one of many to come, on my path to claiming my life back from the jaws of indifference and passivity.
Fast forward six classes--I went all in and haven't looked back! It's tough, it makes me sweat like I've not sweated in a long time...and I love it! The participants are wonderfully supportive and the instructors really make you work for it, no matter your fitness level. There is a wide demographic of people in class: younger to older, fit to not-so-fit, and mostly women. I met Karen on my first day. She's lost more than 125 pounds and gives class hell every single session! What an inspiration!!!
I think I'll keep doing this update as a weekly thing, at least for now. This was my first week of three free, then the ten week competition starts. In the meantime, I'm going to figure out my eating plan and get started, nose to the grindstone. This is the part that will be most challenging for me.

I saw your post of ThePioneerWoman.com and your name caught my eye...wonder why?!
Anyway, after reading just a few of your posts I can identify with you and eating because, well, just because.
I wish you endurance and the best of everything. I wish the same for myself.
From one Stephanie to another...Enjoy!
I was wondering why you were starting in December, but now I understand! How cool that you got to start sooner and for free!! I've said it before, and I'm going to say it again: I"m so jealous! I wish I could be doing this with you. I'm eager to see how it all goes for you and will be checking regularly. GO STEPHANIE, GO!!!!!!!!!!
