Early this morning, I decided to break in my juicer and make myself a healthy little drink. I used 5 carrots, 1 cucumber, 1 small broccoli, 1 lime (juice only) and two apples. While I cannot say it was my favorite, I did drink it all and feel good about getting some liquid vitamins and minerals into my nutritionally-neglected body. I know the combination sounds weird, but I used what I had on-hand. I would make another one, but I have to work tonight and I don't need to have any "adverse effects" while I'm chained to a desk!

Hahaha...I'm just thinking that the broccoli might make you gassy!!! But you can run into a patient's room and blame it on them. Glad to hear you are giving it a go. I absolutely hate beets (they taste like dirt) but will have them in a juice for their nutritional value. And the make the juice a vibrant color, which I love. Yay! Keep us posted on your different recipes!

P.S. I had a friend say that pineapple, apple, and mint were an excellent combination. I have yet to try it but it sounds delish!
