new for me

For those of you who know me, I'm all about finding things to better my health and decrease my weight.  While I know that a magic cure for my fluffiness will not be found in a pill, I do believe that there are some supplements that can aid in your health goals along with making better choices and exercising.

Today, I started taking Nutrigold Garcinia Cambogia Gold.  It is supposed to amp up your weight loss efforts in addition to helping manage cortisol levels and suppressing your appetite.  It also claims to increase your serotonin to improve your sleep and your mood.

I'll update my findings here as well as what I'm doing in conjunction with the GCG supplement.  I am planning on integrating a multivitamin, an omega-3 and a calcium & magnesium supplement into my daily mix soon.  I'm ready to feel better, physically and mentally.  I've already quit soda completely and rarely drink Vitamin Water Zero.  Most of my ingested liquids are in the form of plain water or hot tea with raw honey.  I'm a slave to cheese...  *drool*

My biggest obstacle is going to be exercise.  I don't like it.  I'm lazy, unmotivated...and you have no idea how hard it is to get "all this" moving and keep it moving.  I AM going to make an honest effort to change the previous sentences.  I feel like some simple yoga in addition to some HIIT is my preferred course of action.  I have been walking to work (one mile three times per week), but I need to get back into the habit of walking home.  My friend has been bringing me home for months, and it's not doing me any favors.  And since the weather is cooler now, it won't be such an ordeal for me.  When it's hot out, I am MISERABLE!!!

Alright...there it is.  And here I go!

I'm looking forward to reading your updates! I hear ya on the exercise thing. My heart and head tell me I need to go, but my ass has something else to say about it. Hmpfh!
