I really need to start utilizing my blog more!

I recently traveled home to the 'Ute.  It's been about three years since I've been back, but not much has changed.  I was thrilled to see my family and most of my friends.  I say most because even though I posted on Facebook several times about when I'd be in town and where I'd be staying, a few feigned interest, but didn't follow through.  It is what it is!

I had forgotten how humid it is in the Northeast, and boy was I miserable.  I took showers as cold as I could stand it just to dry off and be slicked with sweat almost immediately.  And good luck getting dressed!  Some nights were cool and a sigh of relief was heard throughout town.  Other nights were miserable, namely the night I left to come home.

I attended picnics with both sides of the family and they were so much fun!  Just being around the people I love and eating good food makes me a happy girl!  My Gram was thrilled with the visit, as was I.
